This unit is located near the Wood Creek Boat dock. (Wood Creek Lake is a small lake in Laurel County, KY; there is no high speed boating, skiing, tubing or jet skiing) There are two bedroom with one having its own half bath. There is a great kitchen with plenty of pots and pans so that you can prepare your meals but if you want to travel to London it is only a short drive away. Located on 10 acres there is a short trail to walk down to the lake and there are woods to explore. There is parking for trailers but it is not right next to the cottage, it is about 250 feet away. Come spend a weekend, a week or a month in this lake front paradise. There are two similar cottages on the property for groups of up to 18.

This new cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bath and is near the boat dock. There is a trail to the lake with parking down there for your trailer (please note that there is not space to park a trailer next to the cottage). There is a full kitchen which includes a dishwasher. There is a washer and dryer. The 10 acre property goes down to the lake where you can enjoy some of the best fishing in Kentucky. There is plenty of room to explore on the property and there are trails nearby.

The Moonshine Inn is a one-of-a-kind luxury log cabin overlooking beautiful Wood Creek Lake at East Bernstadt, Kentucky, in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. This unique log cabin, located seven miles north of London, Ky., was purchased in 2018 and, thanks to the efforts of several local builders and craftsmen, has become everything it deserves to be. The goal was to introduce all of today's modern conveniences, without sacrificing the structure's quaint charm. Living room has 47 in flat screen TV (Dish) & stereo. couch and nice futon that sleeps 1. It's so hard to get up every morning out of the queen size bed that has a beautiful view of water. Cute bathroom that has a shower/tub. Large screened in porch has a swing and chairs to enjoy the sound of nature. There is a gas grill available and picnic table with umbrella close by. Enjoy the outside fire pit with wood provided. Cell service depending on carrier (Verizon area). Other carriers have spotty service. You may give my cell # for emergencies if needed. NOTE: Most of the road is paved but our road is gravel and can be rough at times. There is a sharp curve taking you down to cabin and lake. Don't let it scare you??. This road circles back around to main road if you'd prefer. We live right down the road so if you have any problems finding us feel free to call me and ill lead you the way.

Pool table, ping pong and fuse table for entertainment. No tv right now because we go there for boating, hiking, etc and no tv. Even have a couple tie outs for those that want to bring horses to ride. Boone National forest and horse trails are 25 mins away! There is no inside plumbing such as a kitchen sink, bathroom, shower or toilet, but there is an outhouse just like grandma and grandpa used to have. There is a water spigot (municipal water) right outside your door. We also offer a "Daniel Boone" outdoor shower. (sorry, cold water only, and is seasonal use only; usually between the months of April through October). If you wish to use electricity, we encourage you to bring your own generator, or borrow one. You may use ours at a cost of $20.00 per day. It is a gas powered generator and we will show you how to operate when we check you into the cabin. (You will pay for it at check in time). You most likely need a generator to run the air conditioner in the warmer months. The cabin also has a ceiling fan/light and plug in outlets. If there are more than 2 or 3 people in your party you will want to bring sleeping bags, air mattress or cots to spread out on the floor. There is plenty of parking area; you are able to park right next to the cabin for easy unloading. This property is located in a rural area where there are no zoning laws, which includes noises. If you book a weekend stay with us, you may occasionally hear the sounds of ATV's from the Wildcat Adventures offroad park. After you arrive and park your vehicle, you will need to go down some steps to your secret hide-a-way. (this cabin is well worth the trip up and down those steps)! Inside, a peaceful and inviting setting awaits you as the cabin is tastefully decorated. The walls and the ceiling are constructed of knotty pine and the floor of beautiful hardwood. The kitchen area is well equipped; coffee maker, toaster, blender, crock pot, microwave and many other small amenities to cook your meals. The bedroom area has a queen sized bed with a memory foam mattress, which is very comfortable. On the wall opposite of the bed, there is a 42' flat screen television. It has Dish Flex Pack programming. ( local network stations are not available at this cabin). There is also an electric fireplace in the room that gives a little extra glow to the room. This cabin is equipped with high speed unlimited WIFI for your convenience. You can easily stream your favorite shows or movies on your devices, thanks to the 100 Mbp service . The full bath has a nice amenity; a large shower stall. Take a short stroll and check out the Bass Pond and perhaps build a fire in the fire ring. Enjoy the warmth of the fire and watch glowing embers and the dancing flames. (Sorry, we do not supply firewood to our guests; you must bring your own). Cute, cozy and unique describes Bluegill Cabin that has lots of character in a wonderful, rural setting. The cabin has great views, including your own private backyard pond. It also has rolling hills that are in the distance. Both the front and back yard are filled with different varieties of trees. This is a great place to visit anytime of the year. We are located far enough off the beaten path, yet only a 8 min. drive to I-75 so you are close to London, KY , which is quickly becoming a popular tourist town with events taking place there year round. London also has many eateries, from some featuring hometown cooking to numerous popular chain restaurants. As already mentioned, one of the highlights of this cabin is the beautiful half acre pond right in your backyard, just a few steps away from the cabin. Relax on the covered back deck and take in the serene view of the pond and surrounding fields. Also on the back deck there is a small hot tub. Located just a couple of steps away from the back door, and there is nothing that relaxes like being submersed in the warm water while watching the stars at night. NOTE: Use of the hot tub is NOT included in the rental rate. If you want to have use of the hot tub, the cost is as follows: $10.00 per night for 2 or less people staying, $20.00 per night over 2 people. Let us know before your arrival date if you want it so we can have it ready for you when you arrive. Please plan on paying the hot tub fee in full at check in time. We have Dish programming on the flat screen television, with the top 120 channels package, and also local stations and ESPN. There is a comfortable queen size bed with a memory foam mattress located on the main floor of the cabin, which makes this little cabin ideal for those that may have mobility issues. A small loft bedroom is located on the second floor and has a full size bed. To access the second floor bedroom, you must climb up a ladder. This upstairs bedroom is not suitable for young children, elderly, or physically impaired persons. The bedroom is normally closed off to conserve heat and or air conditioning, unless there are more than 2 people staying. If only 2 people book the cabin and they want to use the upstairs bedroom, please let us know ahead of time so we can have it ready for you. There is a $5.00 per night charge to open the upstairs loft bedroom for a party of only 2 staying to cover the cost of heating and or air conditioning and laundering of extra sheets, extra cleaning, etc. The cabin has it's original hardwood flooring in most of the rooms giving it a rustic look. The kitchen is stocked with many amenities. It has a microwave, full size stove/oven, full size upright refrigerator, coffee pot, crock pot, toaster, small electric grill, and other goodies. A genuine field stone floor to ceiling chimney separates the bedroom and living room area. Inside the chimney is a romantic gas log fireplace, which is operational between the months of late September and March. The living room area has a Lazy Boy rocker recliner chair, a pull out sofa that converts into a full size bed, and a flat screen 32" television and DVD player. We have super fast high speed internet of 100Mbps so you can steam movies from your device, or surf the internet. There is one full bath, containing a tub/shower combination. All of our cabins are owner managed, maintained, and cleaned, ensuring that you have the cleanest place available for your comfort. If you have an ATV and like to ride at the Wildcat Adventures off road park, we are the perfect place to stay for that. We are only a short 7 min. drive from the park. You can leave your trucks/trailers at the cabin. After riding all day, come back and reflect on the great trails you were on while relaxing on the back deck, or in the hot tub. You may want to have a campfire in the backyard fire pit. Watch the dancing flames and glowing embers while you sit under a starlit sky. Please note that we do not supply wood for the fire pit. Your well behaved and housebroken pet is welcome to accompany you for an additional pet fee of $10.00 per night. Limit of two pets. Your visit to this cabin would not be complete without a trip to Cumberland Falls State Park. The park has "The Niagara of the South" waterfalls. It also has hiking trails all around. Cumberland is about a 45 min. drive from the cabin. Renfro Valley Music Center is only a 15 min. drive away. If you are a fan of country style music, you may want to check them out. Other places and events that may be of interest to you include: Wildcat Harley Davidson store is located on the north end of London, 10 miles south. Levi Jackson Wilderness Road State Park is 15 miles south, in London. Camp Wildcat Civil War Battle Historical Site is about 1 1/2 miles away. The Original Colonel Sander's Cafe and Museum, Corbin, KY. Located approximately 20 miles south, eat where the Kentucky Fried Chicken began. Speaking of food, there are many different restaurants in nearby London, KY. This is just a short list of things you can do while you are visiting. There are many other special events going on year round in nearby London that may interest you. Just ask when you inquire and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Our fifth house we chose to add to Lake Vista Properties. We chose this house for its unique A-frame style and the wall to wall glass that makes up the back of the house. The view of Lake Cumberland is amazing at certain times of the year. Therefore, we named the property Window Lake. The majority of the home is lined in cedar. The main level holds a full size bathroom with a washer and dryer, a bedroom with a queen size bed, kitchen, and living area that also has a queen sleeper sofa. Deck access is off the living area. A set of stairs takes you to the loft that holds a king bed and has access to a small Juliet deck that faces the front of the property. Window Lake sits on an acre and a half and plenty of room to enjoy the outside with play. A fire pit area is located in the perfect spot to be able to enjoy the lake view at dusk. Parking space is available on the driveway which has been recently modified to accommodate a boat and trailer, there is also a covered shelter to park underneath.

Our second house we chose to add to Lake Vista Properties. A small simple A-frame dwelling lined with cedar planks nestled in an old quiet community less than 10 miles from the HWY 90 bridge. The roads to this place were laid by, "someone chasing a rabbit" so bring your groceries when you come. It has a private seasonable dock accessible from the back yard. The dock is 10x10 making it large enough to accommodate most boats. The lake level fluctuates all year therefore the journey to the dock from the steps can be more rocky at times than others. There is also a public ramp that is less than 1/4 of a mile from our driveway making this the perfect spot for those looking to "lake it up" on their getaway!!! The views will never get old as it has year round lake front views with a rock wall back drop. Imagine a camping experience in a camper but instead in a small home. The aroma of the red cedar that makes up the inside of this cabin adds to the coziness you feel when you step inside. The simplicity of this place encourages togetherness and bonding with those you choose to stay with. A great place for a family or even those whom you really love to be in close quarters with. The living room comes equipped with an Ashley pullout "full" size sleeper sofa as well as an additional loveseat. There is a 32" smart television in there complete with WiFi for your enjoyment during your downtime. But, who needs TV? Just outside the double sliding glass doors is a spacious deck complete with a charcoal grill and a large patio dining set to accommodate up to 4 with additional seating that is sure to allow up to 6 to dine comfortably while overlooking the dock. There is also a fire pit in the back yard with a cedar swinging chair and additional seating below to make sure that everyone gets to enjoy the outside while staying here. The kitchen comes complete with a full size refrigerator, small stove and microwave as well as all utensils needed to accommodate up to 6. There is also a dining table inside to sit 4 as well as 2 bar stools and a bar for a few extras. Don't cook the bacon to hot or you will set off the smoke alarm (HA!). Camp style food is all you need here, but, be sure and bring your groceries when you come. There is 1 full bath located on the main level complete with a shower/tub. The 2 bedrooms are located upstairs. If you like napping during the day, this is a perfect spot for you to take 20 minutes to refresh. The master bedroom on the rear of the house facing the lake comes complete with a queen size bed. The second bedroom comes with a twin size bed on top, with a pullout twin size trundle below. There is a small washer & dryer in the house to help keep all your laundry caught up as you vacation.
